The Ministry of Health in Kurdistan Region announced on Sunday, that it has recorded a new infection with Corona virus.

The statement by the ministry stated that the new infections belongs to a 46-year-old man from Slemani.

This brings the number of infected people in the region to 29 cases of infection with new Corona virus, including one death and one recovering, while confirmed infections throughout Iraq exceeded100, including 10 deaths, and 24 cases of recovery.

Authorities in Slemani and Erbil have prohibited roaming since Friday night - Saturday for 48 hours in an effort to curb the outbreak of Corona virus.
