On Wed March 4, 2020 Health Ministry of Kurdistan Region announced two more infected cases with the Corona virus in a statement, stating that the infected are members of the family of the 65 year old man who has died from the Corona virus.

The health teams in Slemani governorate examined 45 suspects, in which three of them tested positive for the virus. Thus, the number of patients infected with COVID-19 increased to eight with 1 death.

The provincial health directorates and health ministry are calling people for further committment with the published health instructions.
