Earlier this morning Feb 9, 2020 a delegation of Kurdistan Regional government headed by Begard Talabani, Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, arrived in Baghdad.

Hussein Hama Karim, spokesman of Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, stated “The delegation includes Khalid Shwani, Kurdistan Regional Minister of State, and a number of related officials.”

Regarding the purpose of the visit, Karim said “The delegation will meet up with Minister of Trade and Industry, and Minister of Agriculture to address the financial rights of Kurdistan Regional farmers and the issues between Baghdad and Kurdistan Region concerning agriculture and water.”
