Today, 22/10/2022, the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) met in Dabashan under the supervision of Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

The meeting, attended by Iraqi President Latif Rashid, discussed the latest developments in Kurdistan and Iraq, completing Kurdish rights and forming the next Iraqi government.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Bafel welcomed President Latif Rashidi and stressed that the PUK is pleased that the president's merit remains with the PUK and the Kurds. For this purpose, he reaffirmed the support of the political bureau and hoped that it would succeed in representing all nations and ethnicities as the country's constitutional protectors.

The president expressed his pleasure that the PUK had decided in Baghdad to be ready to defend the PUK's strategy and program, all of which are Mam Jalal's program of serving the will and demands of the people in a federal democratic Iraq.

In another topic of the meeting, the situation in Iraq and the need to form a serviceable and efficient government in the service of Iraqi citizens were addressed. The political situation in Kurdistan and the need for a new responsible policy were also discussed to defend the interests of the people.
