Fahmi Burhan has been appointed as Head of the General Board for Kurdistani Areas Outside the Region in the presence of Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister in the Kurdistan Regional Government.

During the ceremony that took place on Tuesday, Qubad Talabani praised the efforts of Dr. Abdul Hakim Khusraw, who, along with his other duties, took over the presidency of the General Board for Kurdistani Areas Outside the Region.

Qubad Talabani indicated, "The new head is a competent person, and we expect him to play an active role in carrying out the tasks that fall upon him."

Fahmi Burhan declared that he will meet the expectations of everyone and will work with all his power to succeed and carry out the tasks that fall upon him in the best way.
