The Kurdistan Region's Minister of Planning, Dara Rashid, and the American Consul-General, Robert Palladino, signed an agreement as a bid to support private sector in the region.

The two sides met up on Sunday, Feb 27, reiterating the triumph of these projects will provide job opportunities for young people on one hand and reducing the unemployment rate on the other hand.

"KRG pays great attention to the private sector, and we have a good experience in the US in this field," Palladino said during the joint conference.

He also highlighted that this agreement will aid in the expansion of the economy in the region.
