A high-ranking delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) arrived in Dabashan mount of Slemani to meet up with the politburo of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), on Sunday, Dec 19.

The meeting focuses on addressing the Kurd's role in the formation of the new Iraqi government, negotiations on the new Iraqi cabinet formation, Kurdistan Regional parliament's election and the interior situation of the region.
