On Monday, July 26, the International Coalition forces delivered a total of 78 vehicles to the Peshmerga forces.

“Over 70 vehicles were delivered to the logistical branch of the Ministry of Peshmerga. These vehicles will be used in our partner force effort to ensure the enduring defeat of ISIS,” said Col. Wayne Marotto.

The military aids included 50 Humvees, three water tankers, and 25 general transport trucks. 

The Kurdistan Region has been in a long fight with ISIS militants. Around 1,700 Peshmerga fighters were killed and 10,000 injured in the fight against ISIS from 2014 onwards.
