The Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Chato Salih, met up with the directors of the Ministry of Interior directorates in the Slemani Governorate, on Wednesday, July 14.

In the meeting, Talabani officially introduced both Azin Amin as head of the Intelligence Agency and Wahab Halabjay as director of Counter-Terrorism Directorate, wishing them success in their new tasks.

He then explained that the security institutions must coordinate more with each other in order to ensure stability in the region and protect citizens' properties. He also stressed that security institutions should avoid interfering in politics, and they should expand their capabilities more professionally to face crimes, theft and lawbreaking in society.
