On Saturday, June 19, Turkish warplanes bombed a car in Galala village of Mawat district, north of Slemani governorate, where two civilians killed and one injured.
For several years, Turkey has carried out cross-border offensives of varying magnitude allegedly against the PKK for decades. However, in recent years, it's begun to establish more of a sustained presence in a growing number of bases and checkpoints, and increased its assaults which caused deaths of many civilians and terrestrial damages.
As a result of the continuous Turkish bombardments and offensives, thousands of acres of land have been burnt and many villages have been evacuated.
