Peshmarga Minister received Deputy Commanding General of Combined Joint Task Force, discussing elimination of terrorism in the region

The Kurdistan Region’s Minister of Peshmarga, Shorsh Ismail, received on Wednesday UK Brigadier Richard Bell, Deputy Commanding General of the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve to Iraq and Syria, and his accompanying delegation.
The Peshmarga Minister congratulated Bell on his new position and emphasized on the continuation of the ministry of Peshmarga’s cooperation and coordination with the forces of the international coalition to confront terrorists.

Richard Bell reiterated the elimination of terrorism ideology in the region, and explained the patterns of aiding the Peshmarga ministry in this regard.
Another part of the meeting touched upon the formation of coordination center between Peshmarga and Iraqi army. The two sides considered the formed center as a good step to control security and stability in those areas having security vacuums.
The two sides then discussed the military reforms in the Peshmarga ministry, for which Ismail appreciated the advice of the military advisers of the coalition forces in the different sectors of the ministry.
