On Friday, Ma 14, Deputy PM of Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, met up with Mher Grigoryan, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, and Hayk Chobanyan, the Minister of High-Tech Industry in the Armenian government.
Qubad Talabani headed to Armenia on Friday to import Armenia's experience in the field of technology, education and youth development to Kurdistan Region.
In the two meetings, ways to develop relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Armenia were discussed. It was also decided to form a joint team between the two sides for the purpose of transferring Armenian expertise in aspects of e-government and information technology development.
Another focus of the meeting was about linking technical universities in the Kurdistan Region with Armenia in order to implement joint scientific work.
He then paid a visit to advanced companies in the field of information technology, and after intensive discussions, a preliminary agreement was reached for Armenian companies to come to the Kurdistan Region to educate children and young people of the age group between 10-18, teach them information technology which is a special project of the Republic of Armenia.
