On Tuesday, April 27, Kurdistan Region’s Minister of Peshmarga met up with French Consul General Olivier Decottignies, British Deputy Consul General Mel Smart, and Ahmed Ibrahim Al Zaheri, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Kurdistan region.

During the meeting, bilateral relations and the current situation in Iraq and Kurdistan were discussed.

 
The delegations of French, Britain and UAE Diplomats reaffirmed their relations with Kurdistan. The Minister of Peshmarga, Shorish Ismael, confirmed that the people and the government of Kurdistan Region pay close attention to strengthening relations with friendly countries and wish to continue advancing and lasting friendship and work to develop them with other countries.

Moreover, the threats of terrorism and terrorists, reform process and relations between Kurdistan Region Government and Federal Government, and the agreement between Ministry of Peshmerga and Iraqi Ministry of Defense were also talked over.
