The political parties of Kurdistan Region will meet up at the request of Kurdistan Regional President at Kurdistan Presidency building to discuss the overall situation of Kurdistan Region and the region, on Thursday, Apr 8, 2021.

On Apr 20, in a congratulatory letter due to Newroz occasion, the Kurdistan Regional President Nechirvan Barzani said “The parties and ethnicities shall be tolerant, and work all together for a better future of Kurdistan to preserve democracy and freedom.”

He also called on the political parties for a meeting in the letter, “On this occasion, I call on the parties for a joint meeting in the Kurdistan Regional Presidency after Newroz occasion.” He pointed out.

According to the information obtained by PUKNOW, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Change Movement (Gorran), Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), Kurdistan Justice Group (KJG), Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party, Kurdistan Workers’ Party, and the representatives of Christians and Turkmens will all participate in the meeting.
