Kurdistan Region received 43,800 doses of AstraZeneca Covid019 vaccine, which will be distributed according to the priority.

The vulnerable groups and healthcare workers will be injected with the Covid-19 vaccine first.

Kurdistan Region’s Minister of Health, Saman Barzanji, said he expects more vaccines soon. “Hopefully, in the near future more doses of both AstraZeneca and other vaccines will reach the Kurdistan Region.”
