Kurdistan Region's Ministry of Health issued a statement on the number of coronavirus cases, Friday, Feb 27, 2021.

According to the statement, 78 new cases were registered in the past 24 hours in Kurdistan Region.

Regarding the tests, 5252 tests were conducted, 1916 in Erbil, 1221 in Slemani, and 1959 in Duhok and 156 in Raparin province.

Concerning the number of patients got recovered, “Nighty nine infectees were recovered,” the statement said.

However, no COVID-19 patients have died due to coronavirus during the past 24 hrs.

According to the available data, 1179559 tests have been conducted so far, 108717 people got infected, and 103431 patients have recovered, while 3519 COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded.
