The Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, met up with U.S ambassador to Iraq, Matthew Toller, in Erbil, on Wednesday Feb 17.

During the meeting, the latest political and security developments were discussed. Prime Minister talked about the latest negotiations of Kurdistan Regional Government’s delegation to Baghdad in order to discuss the 2021 draft budget and Kurdistan Region’s share in the Iraq’s budget.

Another aspect of the meeting focused on the Erbil rocket attack, in which both sides reiterate on the importance of preserving the security and stability in Iraq and Kurdistan Region.
