The co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Lahur Talabany, condemns the rocket attacks on Erbil, saying “They are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.”

“I fully condemn the rocket attacks in Erbil, they are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.” PUK co-leader said in a tweet, on Thursday, October 1.

Lahur Talabany also added, “The Kurdistan Region will not become an arena for violence and those instigating such attacks must be held accountable.”

On September 30, 6 rockets fired toward Erbil International airport, landing near coalition forces’ base. However, the assault left no injury and casualty.
