Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi on Friday visited the mausoleum of the late President Mam Jalal in Dabashan Hill in Slemani.

Al-Kadhimi was received by Bafel Talabani and Lahur Sheikh Jangi, the co-leaders of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan alongside a number of members of the Political Bureau and the leadership council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

During his visit, Al-Kadhimi expressed his great appreciation for the important role of President Mam Jalal at the level of Iraq, the region and the world.

Al-Kadhimi told reporters that "Mam Jalal was a symbol for all Iraqis and played a major role in building the new Iraq ... Mam Jalal was the one who taught us everything."
