The co-leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Lahur Talabany, met up with the Head of Hikma National Movement, in Baghdad, on Wednesday, Sep 2.

“Today with a senior delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, including a number of politburo and parliament members, we met with Ammar Al-Hakim, Head of Hikma National Movement. We stressed our mutual relations and the recent changes in Iraq and the region emphasizing on solving the problems through dialogue.” PUK co-leader said in his Facebook account.
 
Concerning the files discussed in their meeting, Lahur Talabany wrote “In that meeting we reiterated our support for an active and serviceable government. One that can protect the sovereignty of Iraq, strengthen its position in the region and the world and be able to respond and fulfill the demands of the protesters and provide religious and minorities with their rights.”
